When using such products, it is important to ensure environmental safety. When choosing reagents, special attention should be paid to the fact that wastewater treated and treated with these means should be poured onto the ground or in a compost heap. Reagents may contain a concentrated mixture of beneficial natural bacteria, nutrients, amino acids, minerals, and enzymes, but they should not contain formaldehyde and quaternary ammonium compounds.

The main quality criteria for a dry closet product are the ability to dissolve solid waste without forming stones, destroy gas accumulations, the ability to discharge waste into the soil and their further use as compost.
